Mark R. Colin, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Mark Colin received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Florida, his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry and his Certificate in General Dental Practice from the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He has practiced in Ft. Lauderdale, and has been an active member of the Broward County Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry since he began his practice in 1978. He received his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) in 1984. Dr. Colin currently serves as an Area Director on the Executive Council of the Broward County Dental Association and as an Examiner for the Florida State Board of Dentistry.

I have been a patient of Dr. Colin for over a decade. During this time, Dr. Colin has had excellent bedside manner, technique, and demonstrated a tremendous sense of caring about me and my oral health.

Dr. Colin has gone out of his way to discuss the various pros and cons to every possible procedure, and ask for my input. This is a stark contrast to my previous dentist, who was very proficient technically, but never asked me what my preferences were, as well as the various consequences to each procedure or decision. I have also noticed how Dr. Colin takes responsibility for patient’s care, even when they ignore his advice. I have never heard him chide a patient for putting off a procedure or disagreeing with him.

I recently had a crown redone, and Dr. Colin made many minute adjustments to insure the crown fit properly. I don’t even notice it now, and I realized that I had another similar procedure done a few years ago, and his work is impeccable. I am always welcomed warmly in his office, and never wait. My wife has received similar treatment, and rates him highly. This is significant since her father was a dentist, and she has a high standard in the profession.

I have complete trust and confidence in Dr. Colin’s services, and highly recommend him.

Dr. Colin took my badly damaged teeth with a Frankenstein monster-like smile and restored my smile to that of a normal human being. He took the time and extra care to do a wonderful job. You'll not find another dentist who takes more pride in his work than Dr. Colin.
